Il Padre Nostro (Lord's Prayer) by Paolo Paschetto
Paolo Paschetto (1885-1963), baptist, was born in Torre Pellice. A professor at the Institute of Fine Arts in Rome from 1914 to 1948, he was a multi-purpose artist, going from woodcut to graphics, from oil to fresco. He was the author of the emblem of the Italian Republic, as well as numerous postage stamps, including "the swallow" of the first Italian airmail issue. Countless are his illustrations on books and evangelical newspapers in the years 1930-40.
